24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor
North Medical's Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) is a simple, non-invasive test that measures your blood pressure at regular intervals over a 24-hour period while you go about your usual daily activities.
A small portable blood pressure monitor is worn on a belt around your waist and connected by a tube to a cuff fitted around your upper arm. The monitor automatically records your blood pressure throughout the day and night, including while you sleep, providing your doctor with a more complete picture of your blood pressure outside the clinic.
The device is lightweight and designed to allow you to continue most of your normal daily routine with minimal disruption.
