Prescription Request
North Medical's prescription repeat service is available to existing patients:
- Who have attended our clinic within the past 12 months.
- Who have previously obtained a prescription from a GP at North Medical.
What prescriptions cannot be requested?
- Antibiotics
- Schedule 8 medications such as ADHD medications, opiates and morphine.
- Medications that require a treatment permit
What's the process?
- Each prescription request is assessed by your doctor who will approve or decline the request based on clinical grounds.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for your request to be reviewed.
- It is your responsibility to request your prescriptions well before they run out.
- If the request is declined, you will be advised to book an appointment. Following this you will receive an automatic refund within 5 business days.
What's the cost?
- A prescription request will cost the patient $24.95.
